Pumps

Pumps are devices that force the circulation of a medium in a system and enable its transport. A pump works by imparting mechanical force to a fluid (or other medium) through a rotor, piston or diaphragm to compress it. The pump creates a pressure difference between the suction side (inlet to the pump) and the discharge side (outlet from the pump) to transport liquids, gases or sludge.
